Sigma Spa Cleansing Glove | Product Review

Cost: $35US

The Sigma Spa Cleansing Glove is a textured rubber glove which you can use to help clean your makeup brushes more thoroughly each week. It comes in two version, one with a single thumb and one with two thumbs so you can use either side with either hand, it also comes in four colors. Each side of the glove had a specific style of brush it cleans best, one side is for large facial brushes and the other side is for delicate eye brushes.

I bought the spa cleansing glove (with my own moneys) from the Sigma site a few weeks ago after they had given me a sample as a free gift from a previous order which I really enjoyed using.
So the full sized version that I got has two sides one for face brushes and one for eye or detail brushes and both sides have several textured surfaces which each have a particular purpose for perfecting the wash cycle of your brushes.

Let me just say, this product works SO GOOD! It gives irrefutable results, honestly I would consider it an investment in the longevity and maintenance of your brushes which are not exactly cheap in the first place. This product should be used as directed for the best results using all descriptions of the pad as indicated by their labels for the best cleaning results. When used this way I can honestly say that my brushes have never come out cleaner and my makeup application is better for it.

My only regret is that I wish now that I had of splurged a little extra and paid for the 2x Sigma Spa Glove which has thumbs on either side for ambidextrous cleaning. It would be a whole lot easier to use and I recommend definitely recommend getting that version!

My other issue is the price, it makes it very difficult to purchase, particularly in Australia when you add shipping because it is at the a higher price than you would expect to pay for an accessory however I still have to say it’s worth it considering the improvement it can make to how you clean your makeup brushes.

I have a video using the Sigma Spa Glove as well as other advice and products which I use to clean my makeup brushes which you can watch here
